Marlow White is the nation’s premier provider of dress uniforms for our military and first responders. Founded in 1879, and with locations in both Leavenworth, KS and Washington, D.C., the name Marlow White has become synonymous with excellence in an industry where standards are high. If you’ve seen a high-ranking official in the Army or Navy, even if it was in the movies, chances are you’ve seen a Marlow White uniform.
Any brand that has been in existence for well over 100 years will reach a point where they need to navigate the tricky waters of a rebranding. Marlow White came to us with one key goal – to establish a clear, consistent and compelling brand for Marlow White that acknowledged their history without appearing old-fashioned. Besides branding, they were also in need of marketing help to increase their share of newly targeted markets.
Built on the foundation of the new visual and messaging strategy we established, our work with Marlow White has touched every corner of their business. Once we identified what the modern Marlow White should look and sound like, we updated everything that represents them, from their logo to their tag line to the brochure that tells soldiers how to best care for their swords.
"The professionals at Johnny Lightning Strikes Again are second to none. We first approached them with a daunting task: Take the past 125 years of our company’s successes and help reposition our brand across new markets on a global scale. JLSA exceeded our expectations on every task and challenged us to look differently at how we present our business and brand. They have managed every process in a calculated manner; each step not only showcases their talent, but also contains the detailed analysis, market insights, and concern to maximize our return on investment. JLSA has easily become a critical component to our company’s growth strategy and culture."
