When Phil Glynn first approached us for branding his Kansas City mayoral campaign, he was seen as the dark horse candidate in a hotly contested race that includes Quinton Lucas and recently Jason Kander.
After launching his campaign, he not only raised more money in the last quarter of 2017 than most other candidates but also gained support from prominent public figures and everyday voters alike.
But when first starting out, he needed help establishing the right branding and website to help him build that initial momentum.
Progressive Look & Feel
With the majority of other candidates being politicians, many of our efforts went toward reinforcing Phil’s unique outsider position as a family man and progressive business owner of a successful Kansas City company.
Mobile-First, Simplified Site
With a simple page structure and mobile-first hierarchy, the resulting website focuses on driving donations and signups, as well as communicating Phil’s platform in a clear, personable way. By simplifying the site’s structure, we also helped to save every dollar possible for the campaign.
