I’m going to admit to something that I’m not proud of, and it’s to do with the television my fiance forces me to watch. Before I continue, however, I feel like I need to preface this with the fact that all day long I listen to awesome music and do a bunch of other awesome stuff, and this should in no way be viewed as an indicator of how hip or un-hip I am. OK? OK.
I suppose the subject says all that needs to be said, but since we’re excited I’ll repeat it. Johnny Lightning Strikes Again, a humble provider of web design, graphic design, and branding services to the Kansas City area and beyond, has been nominated for the Kansas City Chamber of Commerce 2010 Small Business of the Year Award. We’re looking forward to the opportunity to showcase our web & graphic design work at the Candidate’s Showcase this Spring. Ahh “OHH,” a marathon project of which I can’t capture the hundreds of hours spent. This is the first process entry I have done, and it’s bound to be one of the biggest. Don’t take marathon as a negative, I like running for especially long distances. But there is no denying the scope, completion of this website was a fantastic feat for everyone involved.
We understand that there is a possibility that you haven’t been as excited about this day as we have, but we’re releasing the balloons and sending out the marching band anyway. We just launched a new Flash website for Ochsner, Hare & Hare, a landscape architecture and city planning firm who has visually shaped not just Kansas City, but communities all over Missouri and the nation. The custom design and development of this site has been a passion of ours since the earliest days of our firm and today we feel very much like parents waving goodbye to their children, heading off to their first day of school. For those of you who know us personally, you likely know that we consume new music like my fiance consumes Oreo cookies after work and then, a few hours later, claims to not be hungry enough to cook anything for dinner. So being the helpless male I am, I eat cereal and question the life choices I’ve made that led to our engagement.
